Sacramento police confirmed today that a 48-year-old man died in February after a suspected dispute with his roommate.
Eric Pogue died Feb. 15, six days after the assault in the 4300 block of Fell St. in north Sacramento, according to police and coroner’s records. He suffered blunt force trauma.
Homicide detectives were advised after Pogue’s death, said police spokesman Officer Doug Morse.
Accused of the assault is Robert Taylor, 53, Morse said. Taylor was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on suspicion of murder Feb. 26 and is expected to appear in court again April 15.
