One man is dead and another arrested in a fatal stabbing Sunday night in Isleton.
The name of the dead man has not been released. Jeffrey Reimche, 49, of Iselton has been arrested on suspicion of homicide in the deadly wounding of the man, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s department said Monday.
Deputies were called to a residence in the 14800 block of Highway 160 near the West Tyler Island Bridge Road in Isleton about 5:45 p.m. Sunday. They determined that Reimche and the other man knew each other prior to the altercation that ended with the stabbing.
The motive for the stabbing was not immediately known.
