Women arrested for allegedly using heroin at Auburn restaurant

Two women were arrested in Auburn on suspicion of shooting heroin in a restaurant restroom.
Auburn police were called to the restaurant in the 130 block of Grass Valley Highway about 11:45 p.m. Saturday for a report of two women possibly using narcotics.
Police said they found Whitney Ross, 25 of Auburn and Danielle Vaughn, 20, of Auburn injecting a substance with a syringe in a restroom. The substance was later determined to be heroin, according to a police press release.
Ross was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, being in possession of prescription medicine that did not belong to her and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Vaughn was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
