A man was arrested for cutting two people, including an employee of a market, according to Sacramento police.
Police arrested Sakka Chanthavong, 34, on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and attempted robbery. Police said that Chanthavong first walked up to somebody about 4:30 p.m. Sunday and cut the person with a knife
Chanthavong then went to the T & Y market near the 2800 block of Norwood. There, according to police, he cut an employee and demanded money from the register.
Customers detained him until officers arrived. Both victims suffered minor injuries.
