Police say that a clumsy burglar on an illegal beer run was arrested after he slipped and hurt himself.

While an employee was in the rear of a store in the 5500 block of Mack Road early Tuesday morning, somebody broke into the closed and locked business. The burglar took beer and slipped as he fell inside the store before fleeing, according to a police activity log.

Later, a medical call for aid was received from nearby the store. An officer responded and noticed it was the suspect injured in the burglary.

Jose Dominguez, 24, was booked on suspicion of burglary.
