Sacramento police have released a photo of the suspects’ vehicle in Saturday’s shooting at a Natomas park that left one man dead and six other people injured.

Officers responded about 5:06 p.m. in the 3000 block of Guadalajara Way regarding a report of shots fire at Peregrine Park. Two gunman are believed to have approached people gathered for a child’s birthday party. The suspects appeared to have targeted a group of men attending the party and fired several shots toward them. A man in his 20s was killed and a 7-year-old girl was among those injured and expected to recover.

In searching the area for evidence, investigators found a surveillance photo of the suspects’ vehicle. It is described as a mid-2000s gold Ford Taurus. The suspects are described as two black men in their 20s. They are believed to have fled in the vehicle, according to a Police Department news release. Police said the occupants of the vehicle are considered to be armed and extremely dangerous.

Anyone with information regarding the vehicle or its occupants are asked to call the Police Department’s dispatch center at (916) 264-5471 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-4357, or text a tip to 274637.
