The California Highway Patrol wants to speak with anyone who had contact with Nathan J. Chambless on or a few days before he was killed while walking along a south Sacramento County road.
Chambless, 30, was struck by a vehicle as he walked near the shoulder of Colony Road south of Arno Road around 11:45 p.m. on May 13. The vehicle that hit Chambless has not been found.
The CHP said that Chambless was known to travel throughout the state. CHP officers are following up on several tips, but seek further information about the hit-and-run crash.
Anyone with information is asked to call the South Sacramento CHP office at (916) 681-2300.
