Deputies search for suspect in Granite Bay robbery

Placer County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a suspect in the armed robbery of Subway restaurant in Granite Bay this evening.

The robbery occurred at 8711 Sierra College Blvd.

The suspect is described as a white man, 20 to 25 years old, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-1, with dirty blonde hair, wearing a light blue polo shirt and tan cargo pants. According to a Sheriff’s Office news alert, he was armed with a semiautomatic handgun and was last seen on foot in the area.

Roseville police are aiding in the search.
