Border patrol agent from Roseville killed in crash

A border patrol agent with ties to the Roseville Police Department has died in an Arizona car crash.
Alexander Giannini, 25, and another agent were traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 when the accident occurred about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday on Interstate 10 near Benson, Ariz. Television station KGUN9 reported that both agents were transported to the hospital after the on-duty rollover crash.
Giannini was involved with the Roseville Police Department, serving in the department’s Explorer Scout troop from age 14 to age 20, when he joined the Border Patrol. He graduated from Roseville High School.
He is survived by his parents, sister and fiancé.
