The California Highway Patrol is investigating a rollover crash on Highway 50 near Folsom that tied up traffic Friday during the morning commute.
Robert Stephen Pope, 36, of Rocklin was driving a 2002 Toyota Tacoma on westbound Highway 50 east of Prairie City Road about 6:30 a.m. when his vehicle left the north edge of the roadway and rolled.
Pope, who was ejected from his pickup, suffered major injuries. It did not appear that Pope was wearing a seat belt, according to a CHP press release.
