Citrus Heights police need help in finding a robber who held up a pizza parlor at gunpoint Sunday afternoon.

Police said the man armed with a handgun entered the business in the 6400 block of Sunrise Boulevard and demanded money. The robber threatened to shoot employees if they did not turn over cash.

Employees followed the robber’s demands and he fled the scene with more than $200 in cash. The robber is described as a white man in his early-to-mid 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, slender-to medium build with medium-length brown hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored shorts.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at (916) 727-5500.
