A Carmichael man died when his motorcycle went out of control on a curve along Fair Oaks Boulevard on Saturday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Sacramento County Coroner Office identified the motorcyclist as Jeremy J. Cunningham, 35, of Carmichael.
The CHP said that Cunningham was riding eastbound on Fair Oaks Boulevard about 2:30 p.m. Saturday just west of Southcliff Drive traveling at between 50 and 70 mph when he lost control of his motorcycle on a curve and started sliding.
The motorcycle hit a guardrail and Cunningham was badly injured, according to the CHP. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at around 7 p.m.
