Motorcyclist killed in Highway 160 collision was Rio Vista resident

A motorcyclist who died Sunday in a collision on Highway160 has been identified by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office as Brett William Giltner, 46, of Rio Vista.
Witnesses told the California Highway Patrol that the motorcycle was traveling north at high speed near Rio Vista about 11:30 a.m. and failed to navigate a turn in the road. The motorcycle drifted into oncoming traffic and crashed into a southbound Ford Explorer, killing Giltner.
The two people in the SUV were not injured.
