3 lanes reopen on Hwy. 99 near Florin

Three lanes of northbound Highway 99 just north of Florin Road reopened Wednesday morning after a collision closed the lanes for about an hour.
Traffic backed up as motorists were funneled into one lane. The California Highway Patrol traffic website reported that a box truck was on its side and that two people were trapped in a vehicle. The motorists were extricated by emergency personnel, according to the website.
The crash happened about 8:30 a.m. and all lanes were reported re-opened at 9:32 a.m.
