The dead woman pulled from the Sacramento River Friday afternoon has been identified by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office as 27-year-old Mary Norman.
Passersby saw Norman’s body in the river north of the I Street bridge around 2 p.m. Friday.
On Saturday, Sacramento police spokesman Officer Doug Morse said there doesn’t appear to be any foul play.
“There was nothing suspicious,” he said. “The cause of death is pending the coroner’s investigation.”
