The South Lake Tahoe Police Department is requesting help in finding a woman who has been missing since early June.

Officers said that Ruth Anne Scudder, 28, left her family’s South Lake Tahoe residence on June 4 and has not been seen since. Police said she has a mild mental handicap, which places her at-risk.

Scudder does not drive and has no money with her. She is 5 feet 4 inches tall, 135 pounds, has green eyes and blond hair.

Anyone who has information about Scudder is asked to call police dispatchers at (530) 542-6100.
