Citrus Heights man died Sunday in Roseville crash

A man killed Sunday morning in Roseville when his vehicle struck a tree has been identified by the Placer County coroner as William Martin Wood, 63, of Citrus Heights.

The crash was reported at 6:30 a.m. on Industrial Avenue. Roseville police said it appeared Wood was driving his gray Isuzu SUV south on Industrial Avenue when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a large oak tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the Roseville Police Department at (916) 774-5000, ext. 1, option 2.
