The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman found shot to death in a south Sacramento business Friday morning as Lan Tran.

Sacramento police responded to calls shortly before 9 a.m. reporting gunshots and a woman injured in a business in the 5600 block of 28th Street. Officers found Tran, 49, with a gunshot wound, according to reports. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are still investigating, and no motive has been established. But police said a man seen in the area is a person of interest in the case.
