A fugitive wanted in the shooting death of a man in Arden Arcade was arrested Friday by Sacramento County sheriff’s deputies.

Hishima Jay Small, 26, was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail for murder. Small had been on the run since the June 13 shooting death of Kareem Johnson, 34, in a parking lot near the 3000 block of Bell Street.

Small is being held without bail. Authorities believe the homicide was related to a robbery.
