Placerville police say missing teen threatened suicide

Placerville police are asking the community’s help in finding an 18-year-old man who is believed to be suicidal.

Tyler Demars was last seen on Prescott Avenue in Placerville. He is considered at risk due to suicidal threats, according to a Police Department news release.

Demars is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, and a tan and brown shirt. He drives a green Honda Civic with a Batman license plate frame.

Anyone with information regarding Demars whereabouts is asked to call the Placerville Police Department at (530) 642-5280.
