Placerville police say that a formerly missing at-risk teen has been found.

Police had asked Tuesday for the community’s help in finding Tyler Demars, 18, who was believed to be suicidal.

Demars had last been seen on Prescott Avenue in Placerville. This morning, the police department sent out an online message that the teen had been located:

“The Placerville Police Department contacted missing, at-risk Demars late in the night. He is safe. The Placerville police thanks all who were looking for him.”
