Toddler struck by car backing out of Linda driveway

A toddler was badly injured in Yuba County when a driver backing out of a driveway struck the child with his car.
The California Highway Patrol reported that Joey Jackson, 1, suffered major injuries and was transported by medical helicopter to UC Davis Medical Center. The CHP was notified of the incident on Bingham Avenue in Linda at 6:18 p.m. Tuesday.
The child was struck by a Chevrolet Corvette being backed out of a driveway at a home.
