The public’s help is sought in locating a man who went missing a week ago after reportedly leaving work in an emotional state.

Sukhvir Gill, 29, was last seen July 22 leaving his place of employment in the 7700 block of Stockton Boulevard in south Sacramento County.

Gill is considered at-risk because his behavior is inconsistent with his normal activity, according to a Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department news release.

Gill is described as East Indian, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. It is not known what he might be wearing, but he is believed to be driving a green 2001 Nissan sedan, displaying California license plate 4SGF812. Authorities say they assume that Gill’s cellphone is shut off because he has not returned any phone calls from friends and family.

Anyone with information regarding Gill’s whereabouts is asked to call the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department at (916) 874-5115.
