The California Highway Patrol will conduct a DUI checkpoint in the area of 47th Avenue and Steiner Drive on Friday night.
CHP officers will staff the checkpoint from around 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. based on traffic conditions, said Officer Michael Bradley.
The location is a usual spot for routine South Sacramento sobriety checkpoints, he said.
“Have a designated driver, as usual,” Bradley said for those planning to go out for a drink Friday night.
