The Yolo County Coroner’s Office has identified the man found fatally shot at a Woodland home on Sunday night as 60-year-old Bryan Morris Hoskins.
Gina Moya, chief deputy coroner, said Hoskins died of a single gunshot wound to the chest.
Woodland police arrested Bryan Hoskins’ wife, Susan Hoskins, 59, after she called the department at 9:53 p.m. Sunday to report that she had just shot her husband. When officers arrived, Susan Hoskins was on the front porch of her home in the 600 block of Knollwood Drive.
She was taken into custody without incident. Her husband was reported dead at the scene.
Susan Hoskins was driven to the police department where she was interviewed by detectives before being booked into Yolo County Jail on suspicion of homicide.
