An Orangevale man last week was sentenced in federal court in a child pornography case.

Anthony Nail, 26, was sentenced Friday by U.S. District Court Judge Garland E. Burrell Jr. to five years and 10 months in prison for receiving and distributing child pornography.

According to court documents, Nail used a file sharing program to download and share child pornography over the internet between December 2011 and April 2012. Nail has been in custody since he pleaded guilty on March 21, according to U.S. Attorney Benjamin B. Wagner.
