Has anyone been arrested in the murder of Shalvin Singh, who was shot last year?

– G.P. Sacramento

Shalvin Singh, 21, died after being shot in front of a south Sacramento home in July 2013.

According to a story in The Sacramento Bee, police officers found Singh lying in a driveway in the 7800 block of Cedar Springs Way with gunshot wounds to the upper body. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

No arrests have been reported in the case.

Police said that an unknown man in dark clothing had approached Singh, who was with a group of people, and fired at the crowd. Witnesses told police that Singh and his girlfriend had gone to the house to meet a friend.
