Police have filed possession of marijuana charges against a woman from Elk Grove and two Pittsburgh Steelers running backs following a traffic stop.

Mercedes Dollson, 21, of Elk Grove, was stopped with the NFL players, Le’Veon Bell, 22, and LeGarrette Blount, 27 in the Pittsburgh suburb of Ross Township on Wednesday.

A Ross Township motorcycle police officer smelled marijuana while in traffic. He identified the scent as coming from a black Camaro, so he pulled over the car with the two players in the front seat and Dollson in the back.

All three were cooperative and polite, according to a police press release. Police said the officer found a plastic bag with three-quarters of an ounce of marijuana in the car and that Bell, Blount and Dollson collectively admitted to possessing.

Bell, the driver, was taken to have a blood draw done. All three were released.

Dollson’s bio at Model Mayhem notes her Sacramento connection: “Im from Sacramento Ca, moved down to Los Angeles in September of 2012. Just another girl trying to make something of herself.”
