Can you give us an update on the status of Reena Ashlie Sanchez? She was the drunk driver who killed a man on El Camino Avenue in North Sacramento last year.
Sanchez, now 25, pleaded no contest on April 30 to gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated in the collision that killed Demaris Ingram, 30.
Sanchez also had two young children in the car at the time of the 3:45 a.m. car crash on Feb. 3, 2013, and she admitted to two counts of child endangerment.
She was sentenced on June 26 to eight years and four months in state prison. Sanchez is now being housed at the Central California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla.
