A Roseville woman has died from injuries suffered when her vehicle rolled over her when she was removing her bicycle from the rear passenger compartment.
Bernadette Ann Richardson, 54, died on Wednesday.
Roseville police said that Richardson had driven to Rosemary Court in the Highland Reserve neighborhood last Friday and parked her Ford Explorer at the curb. She got out, left the engine running and was removing her bike when for undetermined reasons the SUV rolled backward, police said.
The vehicle knocked her down and trapped her underneath. She was taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center, where she died Wednesday as a result of her injuries.
