The incident occurred at 5:13 a.m. at the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and Old Auburn Road, according to a Citrus Heights Police Department news release. The pedestrian, 28 years old, is believed to have been walking from the east to west side of Old Auburn Road during a “Don’t Walk” signal.
