A 54-year-old man has died from stab wounds suffered Saturday night in a fight in a Woodland bar.
Woodland police said they were called to Kenny’s Bar at 721 East St. around 8:45 p.m. on a report of a stabbing.
Officers arrived to find the man bleeding. He was taken by ambulance to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The victim’s name had not yet been released by the Yolo County Coroner’s Office.

Police said their preliminary investigation shows that the victim was fighting with 55-year-old Woodland resident Jeffrey Lemus, who is alleged to have stabbed the victim with a knife during the altercation. No one else was injured.
Police said Lemus was arrested at the scene and booked at the Yolo County Jail on suspicion of murder.
