  • Video: Big rig crashes on Laguna Boulevard, snarling traffic Wednesday morning

Elk Grove police spokesman, Officer Christopher Trim, tells about the truck that crashed on eastbound Laguna Boulevard, near I-5, around 5:03 a.m. Wednesday. Trim said, just past Bruceville Road, the big rig driver lost control, struck a tree in the center median and jack-knifed across all lanes of west-bound traffic, creating a significant delay for commuters. There were no injuries, however.
