A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of voluntary manslaughter in a Sacramento stabbing death that occurred last month, police announced Tuesday.
David Moua was arrested Friday without incident in the stabbing death of Leng Liang, according to the Sacramento Police Department. The incident took place May 21 at Ahern and A streets in a mostly industrial section north of downtown Sacramento near Quinn Cottages, a group of small homes that serve as transitional housing for homeless people.
Liang was conscious and alert when officers found him around 8 a.m. that day, but he later died at a hospital.
Officers found Moua in the 1300 block of North C Street, Sacramento police said in a release. That location is near the Loaves & Fishes homeless services facility and about two blocks north of the stabbing.
