A Sacramento family woke up Wednesday morning to find a car had crashed into their front yard, according to Matthew McPhail, a spokesman for the city’s police department.
Sacramento police received multiple calls of a traffic collision from the homeowner and neighbors about 3:14 a.m. on 23rd Avenue between Warwick Avenue and Mendocino Boulevard in the Oak Park area, McPhail said.
Though no one was injured in the crash, police did report property damage, including a broken fence, McPhail said.
A description of the suspects, who were seen fleeing the scene following the collision, has not been released. Police said the vehicle was described as a light-colored car.
“If anyone saw something and hasn’t come forward yet, we encourage them to contact police,” McPhail said.
Anyone with information regarding the traffic collision is encouraged to call the Sacramento Police Department at 916-264-5471.
