If you’re a community, business or civic leader, the San Juan Unified School District has a proposal.
You can volunteer Nov. 6 for the district’s third annual Principal for a Day event.
Volunteer principals will join school principals to see education leadership from the inside. Each school’s experience is unique. Volunteers will greet students in the morning, participate in staff meetings, supervise recess, visit classrooms to watch instruction and more.
If you sign up, you’ll remain on campus for the morning before joining the host principal in a district-wide leadership luncheon.
Participants must be ready to begin the day early and should remain available through 1 p.m.
