River ceremony recalls Pearl Harbor sacrifices

Benton Wong salutes as a ceremonial wreath is laid in the Sacramento River on Friday from a Sheriff's Department patrol boat.

The annual remembrance of Pearl Harbor is organized by the USS Holland SS-1 Gold Country Base veterans group with assistance this year from the Yolo and Sacramento County marine patrols and honor guards from the Civil Air Patrol and Navy ROTC.
