In this video published Oct. 25, Caltrans and its contractor scramble to finish on time and reopen busy I-80 between Sacramento and San Francisco to motorists at the Midway/Lewis Road section on September 8 and September 9, 2017. A new bridge, built to the latest seismic safety standards, is scheduled for completion as early as spring 2018.
