Police and a witness say dozens of people clashed in a chair-flinging, glass-shattering melee at a New York City racetrack casino when tempers flared among patrons waiting in long lines at a bar opening.
Three people were arrested or ticketed on disorderly conduct charges, and a police officer and at least two other people were injured in Friday's brawl.
Police say officers arrived just before midnight to find about two dozen people fighting in the food court at the Resorts World Casino at the Aqueduct track.
Witness Jermaine Carry says some line-cutting sparked ire as hundreds of people waited to buy daiquiris at a new Fat Tuesday bar. He says then it was "like a wild frat party gone wrong."
Resorts World says it's enhancing security to ensure there's no repeat.
