Consumer Watchdog calls for investigation of Covered California’s no-bid contracts

Consumer Watchdog has asked Attorney General Kamala Harris’ office to investigate no-bid contracts issued by Covered California and the health industry’s influence at the health-care exchange. The group’s demand follows an Associated Press report that professional associates of Covered California executive director Peter Lee received millions of dollars in no-bid contracts.
