Sacamento’s forecast: Daytime high of 80 degrees for three days

Sacramento’s weather is stuck in the 80s this week as daytime highs are predicted to remain near the seasonal normal.
A strong high pressure ridge over the eastern Pacific Ocean and west coast is forecast to continue to bring fair skies to the Sacramento region over the next several days. Look for a daytime high of 80 degrees for the next three days, according to National Weather Service forecasters.
The normal high for Oct. 15 in Sacramento is 78 degrees. The all-time high recorded for the date is 94 degrees, a mark set in 1961.

Today: Sunny, with a high near 80. North northwest wind 5 to 13 mph.
Tonight: Clear, with a low around 48. Northwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light north northeast in the evening.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 80. Light and variable wind.
Wednesday night: Clear, with a low around 50. Calm wind.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 80. Calm wind becoming northwest around 6 mph in the afternoon.
Thursday night: Clear, with a low around 50.
