The relatively cool weather from the weekend won’t carry through the upcoming week in Sacramento, National Weather Service forecasters predict.
Sunday’s projected high in the mid-80s is 5 to 10 degrees cooler than normal for the time of year and similar to highs from the last few days. Highs, however, will gradually climb during the week, forecasters said.
Thursday is forecast as the warmest day this week, with temperatures expected to approach but not reach 100 degrees.
The weekend’s light breezes also will subside throughout the week. Chances of rain are low.
