Valley heat is back in the forecast as a mini-heat wave envelopes the region.
With just two days of 100-degree weather, July 2015 has not exactly been a scorcher in Sacramento. The next two days will be near or barely above the century mark, according to National Weather Service meteorologists.
Wednesday’s high temperature was 95 degrees in downtown Sacramento, with highs near 101 and 97 expected Thursday and Friday, respectively, the weather service reported.
The weather is expected to cool down for the weekend. Saturday is forecast to arrive with a high of 92 degrees, ushering in several days of mid-90s or lower readings.
