Temperatures remain slightly above normal in Sacramento Saturday with a high expected to reach 82 — but rain is on the way, according to the National Weather Service in Sacramento.
A warm system over the Pacific Ocean is expected to arrive Wednesday, bringing ¼ inch to ½ inch of rain in the Sacramento area beginning late morning and continuing into the evening, said meteorologist Travis Wilson.
More rainfall is expected north of Sacramento, he said.
And what about the little goblins and ghosties, preparing for Halloween Saturday?
“Halloween does look dry for the Sacramento area,” Wilson said.

The average high for this date is 74, but Wilson noted that the average factors in rainy days, too, when temperatures typically are lower.
