Four days of dry weather in Sacramento are forecast by the National Weather Service before another storm system enters the picture.
The NWS is forecasting sunny skies through Thursday as a high pressure system prevents rainy weather from moving into Northern California. Today’s weather is perfect for taking Rover to the dog park or allowing Fluffy to bask outside on the porch.
Forecasters say the high temperature will be a mild 60 degrees Monday in Sacramento.
Rainfall has been plentiful this month with the city’s official rain gauge showing 5.44 inches for January. Normal for the entire month is 3.97 inches.
The season’s total stands at 9.06 inches, which is 90 percent of normal for late January.
The next chance for rain, according to forecasters, is on Friday. Forecasters say rain is likely on Friday and Saturday.
