Early in the week expectations that there could be showers Sunday night in Sacramento have faded away.
The National Weather Service forecasts mostly sunny skies for Easter. Those attending church services in their Sunday best won’t have to tote an umbrella. Kids in their pajamas hunting colored eggs in the backyard will stay dry.
The NWS notes that a high pressure system will likely bring blue skies and above normal temperatures Friday and Saturday. Look for a high temperature of 72 or 73 degrees both days.
Slight changes could occur on Sunday when a low pressure system drops out of the Gulf of Alaska. Increasing clouds are expected but any showers are forecast to stay to the north of Sacramento.
