Thirty million Sacramento River salmon are hitching a ride around the Delta because of harmful conditions brought on by drought. Since these little babies support the commercial and recreational fishing industry in California to the tune of more than $1 billion, what would that juvenile salmon say to the trucker?

The winner, which will be based on survey results and judging by cartoonist Steve Greenberg and The Bee’s editorial board, will be announced next Sunday in Forum. The winner will receive a signed color print of Greenberg’s cartoon with the winning caption.
