Re Miami Dolphins football team (Jim Morin, Miami Herald editorial cartoon, Viewpoints, Nov. 8): I was appalled at Jim Morin's cartoon on Friday. He depicted Jonathan Martin being carried off the field on a stretcher. The caption indicated that he was not hurt, no broken limbs or torn ligaments, but that his feelings were hurt ... implying that he was a "sissy." In this time when our schools, counselors and social media, etc., are campaigning for zero tolerance of bullying, this cartoon takes a giant step backwards.

Richie Incognito's harassment was nothing short of cruel and uncalled-for bullying. He should pay the consequences, not be glorified or supported in cartoons or any other way.
