Re "Don't blame Obama for website" (Letters, Dec. 5): President Barack Obama is to blame for the Obamacare website debacle. He is the leader of the executive branch. The buck stops with him. The letter writer states that neither he nor any federal employees are the problem, and the blame goes to the private company doing the work, a company that Obama trusted. Really? No American company was considered as a subcontractor and a no-bid contract was issued to a Canadian firm. A top executive at this firm went to college with Michelle Obama, and the Canadian government had fired this firm for cost overruns. The ACA website is costing taxpayers $678 million and the tab is still going up. Let's put the blame where it belongs - in the lap of the president. Does the cost and awarding of this contract bother anyone else besides me?
