Re "Assembly GOP sows health confusion" (Editorials, Dec. 5): Instead of criticizing Republicans, the Sacramento Bee editorial board should be thankful that one political party has enough brains to try to confront this disaster being perpetrated on the American people. Perhaps the board can explain why a company with a dubious history got hundreds of millions to bungle a website that should have cost five million. And why are many millions of citizens losing their health insurance and doctors whom they were assured they could keep? Why is the president blissfully fiddling while everything runs amok for health care? It seems that any Republican sabotage attempts were an unnecessary expenditure of energy. "Accept it. It's the law of the land," the board said earlier. Great advice for the flock! Just submit to a law of the land, as abbreviated in "LOL."
